Be Winter Ready: Give the ‘Gift of a Lift’ this Christmas…

Award Winning Designated Driver Christmas Campaign Launched 2017

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland have just launched the 13th annual Designated Driver campaign in preparation for the Christmas season. The goal of the Designated Driver campaign 2017 is to encourage people to give the ‘Gift of a Lift’ when socialising this December, by staying sober to help friends and family get home safely.

‘… This campaign reminds us that it is important to think ahead when travelling to and from festivities, whether by appointing a designated driver, refraining from drinking yourself or making other transport arrangements. Don’t risk getting into a car if you think you’re over the limit…’ explained Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross T.D, at the launch this week.

To reward our selfless designated drivers this season, Coca-Cola is offering two free drinks from the Coca-Cola range or an alcohol-free ‘Coketail’ that can be redeemed in participating bars and restaurants. All you need to do is free text Coca-Cola to 50015 in Republic of Ireland, and 80800 in Northern Ireland, throughout the holiday season starting from today. Remember too that QR codes displayed in participating bars and restaurants also offer an alternative way to redeem your vouchers on your night out!
