Happy Christmas To All Our Customers
Windsor would like to wish all our customers a very happy and peaceful Christmas. We've had a very successful year and our customers have been at the heart of our success. Windsor has a long tradition in championing and satisfying customers and this year we are especially nostalgic before our new brand rolls out in the New Year.
Established in 1964 and now employing over 300 staff means that we have a long tradition in supporting the community at Christmas. We hope our customers will enjoy our new branding journey and we would like to share some of the special Christmas moments from our dealerships in the run up to this holiday season.
Happy Christmas to you all and see you in 2018.
Santa Heart Cause Facebook Competition
Santa Heart Cause stole the show this year at Windsor Liffey Valley Nissan and Windsor Liffey Valley Opel. A Facebook competition in which Two Golden Tickets for a Santa visit on Christmas Day were to be won, for following, liking, and sharing a Facebook post, generated a reach of over 12,000 people across Dublin. See Laura Devlin of Windsor Liffey Valley Opel announce the lucky winner on video here.
Smyths Toys Facebook Competitions
Almost every other dealership ran €50 and €100 Facebook Voucher Competitions for Smyths Toys nationwide for the month of December. In fact, we may have generated so much interest from the public for our Smyths Toys competitions throughout our franchise Facebook pages, that even Santa himself showed up as a surprise for one lucky customer when she received her voucher!

WALK Winter Wonderland Donation - Aidan Reinhardt Interviews Mrs Claus
Not to forget - our Windsor Long Mile Nissan dealership sent over three reindeer kitted-out Nissan cars to WALK. WALK is a movement empowering people with disabilities to live self-determined lives in an equal and inclusive society. Aidan Reinhardt was there in person to meet Mrs Claus, to make sure that WALK received a €500 donation from Windsor Long Mile Nissan, and to ensure that the loaned vans were received. You can view Aidan's interview with Mrs Claus here.
Simon Community Fundraiser Appeal
...and finally our Simon Community Christmas Jumper Appeal took place at all Windsor dealerships. New clothes and cash donations were collected by our Windsor Culture Champions while coffees, hot chocolate, and warm mince pies were handed out to all the staff and customers on the day.
We will publish a full report in the New Year to announce how much our fundraising came to. Looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year. (Photo credit: Windsor. Head Office in Christmas Jumper Glory with Managing Director Peter Nicholson fourth to the left and fourth to the right back row).
Wishing you all a lovely holiday and see you all in 2018!
