- Complete a thorough multipoint check and service on a Gold Standard used car before selling it to the customer. This check is carried out by qualified Nissan technicians who put every Gold Standard car through a rigorous multipoint check including servicing the vehicle. The preparation of the vehicle will be to the highest industry standards.
- Every Gold Standard car comes with a 12 month/ 19,000 km Gold Standard Warranty (whichever comes first). This piece of mind package offers electrical and mechanical component cover and this coupled with Nissan's excellent preparation standards ensures worry free motoring.
- 12 months RAC membership free of charge. In the unlikely event that a Gold Standard car breaks down, this comprehensive package provides the Gold Standard customer with roadside assistance, recovery and onward travel.
- 21 Day Exchange Plan. Although confident that all Gold Standard customers will be totally satisfied with their Gold Standard purchase should the need arise an exchange plan, valid for 21 days from date of delivery is available to all Gold Standard customers.
What is the Nissan Gold Standard?
The Nissan Gold Standard is a unique programme developed in order to give you a guarantee of quality, reliability, excellence and peace of mind when you buy a used car.
When you buy a used car which bears the Nissan Gold Standard, you receive a comprehensive dealership warranty - and one year's RAC membership.
Your RAC membership includes: rescue / roadside assistance, whereby your car will be towed to a nearby garage if necessary; at home service; and vehicle cover for any authorised driver.
This cover applies throughout the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and mainland UK. So you can drive with confidence, in the full knowledge that you will receive prompt assistance in the unlikely event of an emergency.
How Does Nissan Gold Standard Work?
All Gold Standard vehicles are prepared to meet the same high standards as a brand new Nissan. In order to meet these extremely high standards, each Nissan Gold Standard car is put through rigorous testing by qualified technicians, including comprehensive testing and certification of the following:

Nissan Gold Standard Terms & Conditions
- Applies to selected Used Passenger Cars only.
- All Gold Standard cars come with a dealership warranty and 12 months RAC membership.
- The warranty is provided be for a minimum of 12 months or 19,000 Km whichever comes sooner.
- Full details of the warranty cover can be obtained from the selling dealer.
- RAC membership details are provided by RAC Ireland. Full membership benefits are obtainable on request but include Roadside Assistance and At Home service.
The most Comprehensive New Car Warranty Available.
Every New Nissan carries a 3-year or 100,000km warranty and a 12-year perforation from corrosion warranty.
- The full manufacturers warranty covers the vehicle against manufacturing defects for 3-years or 100,000km.
- The vehicle is covered for 12-years against perforation from corrosion.
- All new Nissan cars enjoy RAC membership which entitles you to 24hr roadside assistance during the warranty period.
- Normal service and wear and tear items are excluded from warranty, the full terms and conditions of which are contained in the warranty information booklet.
- Your Nissan Dealer can advise you in relation to these terms and conditions and also on the 12-year perforation from corrosion warranty.
Your New Opel Warranty
- Opel guarantees that your new car will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months (following delivery or the first registration, whichever occurs first).
- This warranty guarantees repairing and substituting parts for your new car at no charge within these time limits by an Opel dealer or an Opel Authorised Service Operation. Any replaced parts will become the property of Opel.
- To have a warranty repair carried out you must present your request to the Opel dealer or an Authorised Service Organisation, along with your Service Booklet containing the New Vehicle Warranty and Opel International Service Certificate (completed and signed by the delivering Opel dealer).
- This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear.
- This warranty shall not apply if the original cause of a defect stems from:
- External mechanical or chemical influences.
- Improper handling of the motor vehicle.
- If the owner is aware that the motor vehicle has been repaired or serviced by a third party.
- If parts have been installed, or modifications have been made that are not approved by Opel.
- If Opel's instructions have not been adhered to or the prescribed checks stipulated in the Service Booklets have not been made.
- If the owner of the vehicle failed to immediately claim and repair a defect which was already apparent during vehicle delivery or immediately after it became apparent as specified in item No.3.
- All warranty claims expire at the end of the 24-month period specified in item 1. Defects reported but not corrected during the warranty period remain valid until the defect is eliminated. The warranty period for any such defect ends two months after the last rectification when Opel, an Opel dealer or an Opel Authorised Service Operation states that the defect has been rectified or that there is no defect.
- Owner claims against the delivering Opel dealer are not affected by this warranty.
Every Chevrolet comes with a comforting warranty. We believe so strongly in the
quality, technology and equipment of our vehicles that we can offer every Chevrolet
with 3 years or 100,000 km of comprehensive warranty along with 3 years RAC
Membership and 6 years anti-perforation warranty giving Chevrolet customers
complete peace of mind.
- A full manufacturer’s warranty covering mechanical and electrical components
for three years or up to 100,000km from the date of purchase.
- Three years free membership of the RAC entitling the driver to 24 Hour road
side assistance.
- The 3 year warranty applies to the car so an owner selling a Chevrolet before
the three years or the 100,000km has been reached will pass the benefits on
to the new owner enhancing both the appeal and value of the car.
- Normal service and wear and tear items are excluded from the Warranty.
- 2 years unlimited mileage warranty (terms and conditions in service handbook)
- Paintwork warranty – 3 years on passenger vehicles / 2 years on commercial vehicles
- Anti Perforation warranty – 12 years on private vehicles / 6 years on commercial vehicles. (regular inspections required – see service handbook)
- 2 years Peugeot Assistance (Roadside Assistance programme)
