Vision Sports ‘Zero Limits Track Day’ with NCBI

Vision sports Ireland has teamed up with NCBI for their third annual Zero track day event. Windsor have been sponsoring the event since its commencement and we can honestly say it’s only got better with time! The day kicked off with participants jumping in behind the wheel where they got to race around the track at Mondello park in dual-control cars. We spoke to some participants who gave some insight on what this event means to them. Jodie O’Neill, a second time participant, talked to us about her own personal experience with the event.

“I always found it really hard not being able to drive, and it was always my dream to be able to. This is great because not only do you get the experience of being on the road with other cars, but you also get the experience of turns and stuff” -Jodie O’Neill, aged 18.

The day included activities for people of all ages including a free ice-cream van, games, and the presence of some special guests like Robbie Henshaw and Jason Smyth. The event was officially open at 1pm and then the real games began; rally driving! Some generous rally drivers donated both their time and their cars so the participants could feel the thrill of racing around the track. It’s safe to say it was the highlight of the day for most people, and an experience they will never forget.

All of us here at Windsor feel lucky to be a part of something so impactful and we couldn’t be prouder to be sponsors of this amazing event.
