Rugged, reliable and affordable, the Dacia Duster embodies the pioneering spirit while also providing excellent value for money. Its small SUV good looks have undeniable curbside appeal, while the raised ride height and over-engineered construction mean that it also boasts high standards of off-road prowess.
The exterior styling of the Duster leaves a lasting impression wherever it goes, with bold angles and chunky features. Three trim levels offer different equipment: Duster Alternative models come with 16-inch 'Matterhorn' steel wheels and chunky roof bars; Signature models add 16-inch 'Tyrol' alloy wheels and satin chrome roof bars; while the range-topping Prestige come with stylish 16-inch Diamond cut alloy wheels and reversing camera with rear parking sensors.
Inside the cabin of the Duster, the rugged features continue with smart storage solutions and robust materials, designed to stand up to whatever your lifestyle demands and still maintain its good looks. Standard equipment across the entire range is generous, with electric front windows, 60:40 split folding rear seats, and a height adjustable driver's seat. Signature models add charcoal grey accents, a leather steering wheel, and map pockets in both front seatbacks, while Prestige trim includes a MediaNav infotainment system with navigation and a traffic information feature.
Engines and performance
To keep things simple, the Duster is available with a dCi 110 diesel engine, producing 109hp and capable of a 105mph top speed. 4X2 models are capable of 64.2mpg on a combined cycle and emit just 115g/km of CO2, while 4X4 variants offer a still very respectable combined 60.1mpg and 123g/km of CO2.
We’re excited to announce the introduction of the Bi-Fuel range. This new power train offers the ability to run on cheap, clean LPG while always having petrol power as a back-up.
Big savings on running costs
o 6.5l/100km on petrol; 8.4l/100km on LPG
o 129.9c/litre petrol; 79c/litre LPG
o €1,688 per 20,000km petrol; €1328 per 20,000km LPG
o A driver doing average annual distance could recoup the additional purchase cost in 2 years
Safety and technology
Keeping occupants safe and maintaining the best possible grip on whatever surface your Duster finds itself is of paramount importance. This is why all Dusters come with a range of standard safety features and driver aids, such as driver and passenger airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, ABS and Emergency Brake Assist, and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) with ASR (Traction Control).
