New engines equipped with SKYACTIV technology provide efficiency without compromising on energy. The entry-level 1.5-litre petrol unit hits 60mph in around seven seconds, while returning 47.1mpg and CO2 emissions of just 139g/km. If you want more power, go for the 2.0-litre version.
