Mazda has unveiled its sporty, all-new coupe crossover electric vehicle. The first electric car designed and built by the Japanese manufacturer, the All-New MX-30 will arrive on Irish roads in late 2020 and this compact, fully electric SUV is bound to shake things up in the electric vehicle market.
Every Mazda is heavily driver focused with huge emphasis placed on the experience and pleasure of driving. The MX-30 is no different and under acceleration, braking and cornering, this 100% electric SUV will feel natural and responsive, just like you would expect it to.
Using Mazda’s e-Skyactiv package, a new level of innovative engineering is achieved which includes a battery integrated into the vehicles structure which reduces body roll and increases stiffness, improving the vehicles handling characteristics. Mazda’s engineers have implemented a unique, electronic sound system which is synchronized to the electric motors and changes in sound frequency as the vehicle accelerates.
‘Less is more’ has been the design ethos behind Mazda’s current generation passenger vehicles and the new MX-30 displays that throughout. The exterior is purposeful and distinctive with a hint of aggression. Inside, the driver is treated to a compliment of eco-friendly materials and vegan leather. Mazda have sourced environmentally friendly cork which features in the floating centre console and provides expansive storage space.
