The Qashqai is one of Ireland's best-selling cars and most popular SUVs. The new version is due to revealed on February 18th with a worldwide premiere.
The teaser video below gives a taste of what to expect from the 2021 Qashqai. Exterior styling has been completely re-designed featuring slim, stylish LED headlights, similar to the all-new 2019 Nissan Juke.
The new Qashqai will following styling cues from the highly anticipated Nissan Ariya. The boot-lid, taillights and roof-line will follow a similar design language.
Confirmed by Nissan, the new Qashqai will feature a flat floor to increase aerodynamics and reduce fuel consumption.
The all-new 2021 Qashqai will feature a 1.3 Petrol engine equipped with light hybrid technology and available in two power outputs, 140hp and 158hp. The latter will be available in four-wheel drive and automatic should you choose.
Nissan's e-POWER system will power a plug-in hybrid version, with a small petrol engine powering electric generators to charge the cars batteries. The electric motor, which can be charged at home, will provide 190hp and will be available in front-wheel drive only.
The new Qashqai will receive many state-of-the-art updates including a digital dashboard cluster and an all-new touchscreen entertainment system. A front seat massage function and cruise control has been teased.
