The All-New Peugeot 208 is here! The futuristic and stylish new 208 is available for January 2020 (201) pre-orders from Windsor Peugeot Dealerships right now.
The New 208 will be available with a choice of petrol or diesel engines, and also as an all-electric e-208 – making it one of the most versatile hatchbacks on the market today. All models of the new 208 will feature the latest version of Peugeot’s award winning i-Cockpit and 3D head-up display, as well as state of the art driving & safety features.
The totally revised body of the 208 follows Peugeot’s ever-popular modern design philosophy seen in other models in the Peugeot range such as the 5008, 3008 and 508. The new 208 is also longer, wider and lower than the outgoing model – meaning more space, comfort and dynamic driving ability.
The engine options for the new 208 includes 3 variations of a new 1.2Litre petrol with either 75, 100 or 130 horsepower; a 1.5L BlueDHi diesel with 100hp, and an all-electric drivetrain with an equivalent 136hp. Transmission options across the Petrol engines include a manual gearbox for the 75hp variation, a manual or automatic for the 100hp engine, or an automatic-only option for the 130hp engine. The 1.5 Diesel comes as a manual only.
As with all electric cars, the e-208 will not have a traditional gearbox, but will drive like a standard automatic. The impressive 50kWh battery in the e-208 will deliver driving range of up to 340km, as well as amazing performance figures with a 0-100km/h time of just 8.1s. Three charging modes will be available for the e-208: domestic 3-prong wall socket (16hr charge time); a Home Charging wall box (5hrs 15mins charge time); or a 100kW DC public charger (80% of charge in 30 mins).
