Ireland, Leinster, and Old Belvedere rugby player Sene Naoupu has joined Windsor Motors as a Brand Ambassador for the Windsor Nissan range.
Sene popped into Windsor MotorMall Nissan ahead of Leinster Women's historic match against Harlequins. Sene, and the rest of the Leinster women's team, travelled to London yesterday ahead of the very first women's club game to be held in Twickenham. The game sees Leinster Women take on Harlequins women today, December 28th, as part of the 'Big Game 12' event which also sees Harlequins take on Leicester Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership.
'It's great to join Windsor Motors as a Brand Ambassador, they have been a great supporter of rugby for a number of years now, not only are they are the Official Vehicle Suppliers of Leinster Rugby but they are also the main sponsors of my club, Old Belvedere Women.' said Sene.
'Sene is an incredibly inspirational person for kids to aspire to be', said Windsor Motors Chief Operations Officer, Sean McBrien. 'It's amazing to see the path she is paving to help promote the participation of women in sport. A lot of work has been done by Sene and others to help increase the attendance numbers at women's games, which we saw earlier this season with Leinster's two Interprovincial games against Connacht in Energia Park being very well attended.'
Sene has had an amazing 2019 where she represented Ireland in the 6 Nations, captained Leinster to victory in the interpros in September, reached the AIL play offs for Old Belvedere, and also earned her second cap with the Barbarians Women in their 29 - 15 victory over Wales.
Windsor MotorMall Nissan is now open at Exit 5 M50.
