The Irish Women's Open Tag Rugby team flew out to Australia on Monday, October 22nd, ahead of their World Cup campaign, which kicks off in Coff's Harbour on November 1st.
Ireland have been drawn in Pool B with Cook Islands, NZ Samoa, China, Australian Indigenous and Philippines, while Pool A sees Australia, Lebanon, South Korea, Vietnam, Greece, and Malta take on one another.
Speaking of Windsor Motors' partnership with the Irish Women's Open Team, Peter Nicholson, Managing Director, said 'We have a long tradition of supporting rugby at a local and provincial level and this is a great opportunity for us to support a team of incredibly hard working women who have had to make a lot of sacrifices and show great determination to make the squad and get themselves to Australia to represent their country in a World Cup'.
